All I can say about the meal we had is it’s one of the best roasts I’ve ever had, the best one I’ve had outside of someone’s home certainly, and it would give most home made versions (like your mum’s, your nan’s etc) a good run.
Generous portions (I had to stop for a ‘rest’), good variety of vegetable etc, cooked to perfection and obviously good quality produce.
The beer was good, the atmosphere friendly and buzzing and the welcome warm.
It’s a few miles from where we live and we have to drive past other pubs serving good roasts, but that extra mileage is worth it.

Despite a polite... read more sign informing customers the kitchen was at full capacity, a member of staff came out to greet us and said if we were happy with pizzas they could cook us some homemade pizzas in their pizza oven as this wouldn’t affect their kitchen. We were welcomed in and provided with recommendations of pizzas and drinks. The staff were all
friendly and welcoming and the pizzas were delicious!! I took leftover pizza home for my teenage son who loved it that much he’s signed up for the 4 mile walk with us next time we visit! I cannot recommend this pub, the staff and the food highly enough. Thank you for your hospitality.
